Amjati SIBOKO – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On July 24, 2015 at approximately 12:38 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 6 and College Avenue, Guelph.

Police investigated the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet and believed that alcohol was consumed. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.

The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Charged is 25-year-old Amjati SIBOKO of Scarborough. He has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 4, 2015 to answer to the charge.
