Police officers on patrol in the downtown area were flagged down by a taxi driver with regards to a fare. The driver had been called to a Bradford Street establishment where the man had been put in the taxi by his friends. Unfortunately while trying to do the right thing, the friends neglected to tell the driver where to take the fare.
The 49 year old Barrie male was so intoxicated that he was unable to communicate with the taxi driver. He was turned over to police and held until sober.
