Alona SAUNDERS – Break and Enter, Jar of Change and Lottery Tickets

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 28 year old female with three criminal offences after she was caught in the act trying to steal change from a residence. On August 27, 2013 at 6:45 p.m. Huron OPP officers responded to a Southampton Street residence for a break, enter and theft occurrence. The residence owner reported to police he observed a female taking off from his residence on foot. The owner confronted the female and found her with a jar of his loose change and some of his lottery tickets. The female had entered his residence through a screen window. Police arrived on scene and were able to arrest the thief without incident.

Alona SAUNDERS (28) from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with Break, Enter – Commit Indictable Offence, Theft Under $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. She has a court appearance scheduled for August 29, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
