(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – On Saturday the 6th of December between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. the Alliston Lions Club partnered with the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) held stuff a cruiserevents at the Alliston Walmart and Canadian Tire. The outcome was a TOTAL success! Over 6 pickup truck loads full of toys and non-perishable food were transported to the local Alliston Lions Hall to be sorted and organized. It appeared from the sight of the toys, the donations doubled since last year`s toy drive. Many very generous cash donations were received as well, to help purchase toys, gift cards, and food to contribute to the efforts.
The officers from the Nottawasaga OPP and the Alliston Lions Club wish to send our many many thanks to all those who donated to help local families and our Merry Merry Christmas wishes everyone too.
