(CHISHOLM TWP, ON) – At approximately 3:20 a.m., on May 30, 2018, officers from the Powassan Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a vehicle rollover on Grahamvale Road in Chisholm Township, Ontario.
When officers arrived at scene, they began an investigation, and the driver was arrested for impaired driving. He was brought to the North Bay OPP Detachment for further investigation.
As a result, Alexander SEELY, age 19, of Chisholm Township, Ontario, has been charged with the following:
Driving while ability impaired contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC); and
Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the CC.
The driver was released on a Promise to Appear with a date to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario, on June 12, 2018.
The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
