(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On May 30, 2015 at approximately 3:35 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting speed enforcement and monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 124 east of Trafalgar Road, Town of Erin. A male driving a 2012 Ford was observed well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 139 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Alexander DUNN age 25 of Burlington has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on July 15, 2015 to answer the charge.
