Wingham Police are currently investigating two separate incidents of break and enter that occurred over the past several weeks but were reported this past week.
Culprits forced entry into the vacant residences on Edward St and Frances St in Wingham. Once inside the culprits removed all copper piping from the basement of the residences. With the rising value of scrap copper, wire and piping are becoming very common items for theft.
Residents are asked to remain vigilant in their neighbourhood and to call police immediately should they see suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.
