On 23 January 2012, Wingham Police were notified that a motor vehicle had been stolen from a Wingham business sometime overnight. The vehicle, a green 2002 Toyota Echo license plate AAHJ753 had been left at a business for repairs and was noticed missing this morning.
During the night the vehicle was observed South of Wingham by an OPP officer but it had not yet been reported stolen. The vehicle was last seen in Chesley at about noon today and was involved in a gas drive off there at that time. Anyone with information regarding these thefts is asked to contact the Wingham Police or call Crime Stoppers.
