The Wingham Police are investigating the report of a robbery that took place over the lunch hour on Monday March 3rd on Victoria St East in Wingham.
The Wingham Police are seeking the public’s assistance if anyone had observed or any information with regard to this incident. The female victim advises that a male party walking towards her on the side bumped into her and stole her purse from her jacket pocket. The male was last seen running West bound on Victoria St East. The purse is described as a hand purse or clutch that was pink and black.
Description of male as follows:
White Male, with a unkempt full beard with some Grey in it.
Between the ages of 30-50 years old
Around 5’6†tall
Wearing a greenish grey winter coat, Black touque/hat, Baggy jeans and Grey/ White shoes.
The male was carrying a grocery bag at the time of the incident.
