(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – On the 20th of October 2016, officers from the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to an attempt abduction call regarding an 11 year old girl on her way to school.
Police learned that an 11 year old girl was walking on Falkner Road between Warman Street and Knight Street in the Town of New Tecumseth (Alliston) at approximately 8:40 a.m. on the 20th of October 2016, when a male approached her from behind. He grabbed her backpack, and pulled her towards him. The child was able to break free, and fled the scene on foot. The man’s direction of travel afterwards is unknown.
The Nottawasaga OPP are requesting assistance in locating the male, and obtaining any information that may help. The male is described as:
Caucasian male, approximately 30 years old athletic build
Black hoody, ripped jeans
Carrying on his back a white back pack
