(WALKERTON, ON.) – On July 10, 2009, a Green Ford Explorer was observed travelling northbound on County Rd 3, Brant Township at a high rate of speed – 138 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the South Bruce OPP Walkerton Detachment where 2 breath tests were performed; both were found to be above the legal limit. 49 year old Albert Dobben of Saugeen Shores is charged with Stunt Driving; Open Liquor and Driving with Over 80 mgs. He is scheduled to appear in Walkerton Provincial Court on August 31, 2009.
