(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) -On November 14, 2014 at approximately 10:56 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Wellington Road 125 just south of Wellington Road 124, Town of Erin. The officer observed a male driving a 2004 Acura at a high rate of speed. It was locked on radar travelling at 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Ajaypal BAINS age 24 of Brampton is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on January 7, 2015 to answer to the charge.
