(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) On Saturday October 19, 2013 at approximately 3:30 am, officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol and stopped a 2000 Chrysler Intrepid that was southbound on Gordon Street near Wellington Street in the City of Guelph. The male driver showed signs of alcohol consumption and was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Ahsun AHMED age 20 of Ajax has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on November 5, 2013 to answer to the charge.
His driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days.
