(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a driver of a motor vehicle after an aggressive driving incident on Highway 417.
On November 18, 2014, at approximately 2:56 pm, the OPP received information that a driver had pointed a firearm at another driver while driving on Highway 417 eastbound near Regional Road 174.
Investigation revealed that a male driver pointed a pellet gun at another driver.
The male driver, 63 year old Gaston VEILLEUX of Russell Township, was charged with:
Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
Pointing a firearm
Firearm in a motor vehicle
Dangerous driving of a motor vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in Ottawa court on January 08, 2015.
