(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to encourage drivers to adjust their driving habits to the weather and road conditions, stressing that safe roadways are a shared responsibility.
On March 24, 2014 an OPP officer stopped a vehicle which had been passing multiple vehicles on a hill, forcing oncoming traffic off the road way. As a result of the investigation Lawrence KEENAN, 33 years of age, of Cavan-Monaghan Township, was charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused faces a fine of $490.00.
