Adopt-A-Child Winter Coat Registration Continues

The Adopt-A-Child Winter Coat Program is a joint partnership with the Belleville Police Service, The Stirling Rawdon Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police (Central Hastings Detachment, Prince Edward County Detachment, and Napanee Detachment) and Quinte Broadcasting. This program supports working families and those in need of assistance by providing children 12 years of age and under with new, warm winter outer wear (snowsuits and boots). Central Hastings O.P.P would like to remind residents that registration for the Adopt-A-Child Winter Coat Program continues until September 26, 2014. Area applicants may attend Central Hastings O.P.P at 105953 Hwy# 7 Madoc, Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm.

In addition, two evening registration sessions will be held on the following dates:

Monday, September 22nd, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at the Tweed-Hungerford Agriculture Society Building (White Building Next to Arena)

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at the Marmora Arena (upstairs)

Applicants should bring proof of custody (ie Health Card) and be certain of clothing and boot sizes.
