Officers stopped a driver at a RIDE spot check in Arnprior early on Sunday morning, August 11 and found the driver had been drinking. The RIDE was set up at James St and Thomas St at 12:30am. The male driver had been drinking and failed a roadside screening test. After further testing at the detachment, Adam STILL 25 of Arnprior was charged with driving over 80mgs, and driving while under suspension. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on August 28. The vehicle he was driving was impounded for 7 days, as is permitted when someone is driving while under suspension.
