(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 7, 2015 at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2001 Honda Civic on Wellington Road 30 in Guelph-Eramosa Township just as the vehicle pulled into a private driveway.
As police were speaking with the driver, it was determined that he had been drinking. An Approved Roadside Screening Device (ASD) test was conducted which resulted in a fail.
The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
31-year-old Adam SCHILL of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 27, 2015 to answer to the charge.
