(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Thursday September 30, 2010 at shortly after 8:30 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer spoke to a driver at the side of Road 125 North West of Stratford. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.
The male driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he provided breath samples which resulted in readings of over .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Adam Riehl (26) of the Township of Perth East was charged with having care or control of a motor vehicle while having a blood alcohol concentration in excess of 80 milligrams. He was also charged with being impaired and having care or control of a motor vehicle.
He is to appear in Stratford criminal court on November 8th 2010 to answer to these charges. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
