Adam BOUGHNER – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 11, 2015 at approximately 10:48 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Conservation Road in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Officers investigated the driver of a 2010 Ford that entered into the checkpoint. Officers detected the odour of alcohol on his breath and a Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

23-year-old Adam BOUGHNER of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 28, 2015 to answer to his charge.
