(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 44-year-old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Norfolk County Road 28, Houghton, Ontario address.
On Saturday, February 27, 2016, at approximately 2:22 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Norfolk County Road 28, when a vehicle attracted the officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 44-year-old Abram PETERS of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving while under suspension and improper mud guards contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
