(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 14, 2014 at approximately 12:51 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a 2008 Cadillac on Wellington Road 12 near Wellington Road 7, Mapleton Township. The male driver showed signs of consuming alcohol. He provided a sample of his breath into an Approved Roadside Screening Device which resulted in a fail and was taken to the Fergus Operations Centre for further testing.
Aart BRAAFHART age 24 of Mapleton Township has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 29, 2014 to answer to the charge.
