911 Call leads to the Arrest of an Impaired Driver

(Napanee,ON) – On September 30, 2018 at 11am in the morning officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a 911 call reporting a male who had been drinking at the corner store in Yarker.

The male was observed getting into a vehicle and leaving the area on County Road 1. Police conducted a traffic stop south of Newburgh and found the male to be impaired. Charged is 57 year old John Connor a Kingston area resident.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a first appearance date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on October 23, 2018.
