9 Break And Enters Solved – SMITHSON Arrested

(DUFFERIN COUNTY, ON) – On January 12, 2017 at 9:42 am Dufferin OPP executed a search warrant in the Town of Shelburne.

As a result of this warrant several thousand dollars of stolen property were recovered. Police have solved 9 Break and Enter incidents as result of this complex investigation seized over 110 items that were stolen.

Dufferin OPP have charged Kevin Ronald SMITHSON, 28 years of age of Shelburne,Ontario with two counts of Break and Enter a Dwelling house and one count of Possession of Stolen contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. More charges are pending

The break and enters occurred over the November 29, 2016 and January 4, 2017. Victims of these incidents are asked to contact Provincial Cst. Stan Wesley at Dufferin Detachment to arrange viewing and return of the property.
