(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded Friday morning to a 9-1-1 call and discovered a house fire on Mary Street in Renfrew.
Upon arrival, officers located a lone female in the home, Agnes Lepine (88) of Renfrew ON, who was transported to hospital with serious life threatening injuries and later died as a result of her injury.
The Renfrew Fire Department attended shortly after police arrival and extinguished the fire.
The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall attended and the cause of the fire has been deemed to not be suspicious.
