(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday June 26, 2013 shortly before 4 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer conducting radar patrol on Hwy 23 just south of Mitchell observed a fast moving Chevrolet sedan. The officer locked the vehicles speed in at 124 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
The 85 year old male driver from the Municipality of West Perth explained that he was testing the tire pull of his new tires. The driver was issued a ticket for speeding.
