(PICTON, ON) – At approximately 7:45 AM on the 24th of May, 2017, Prince Edward County OPP (OPP) and Hastings- Quinte EMS (EMS) responded to a collision that occurred at the intersection of Church and Union Streets in the Town of Picton. A vehicle collided with a bus at that location. OPP are currently investigating the collision. The female driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries. There were no injuries reported of the 22 students on the bus or the driver of the bus. 84 year old Gena MILLER of Picton has been charged with Start from Stopped Position- Not in Safety, under the Highway Traffic Act.
