On June 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., an 82 year old Kitchener woman was travelling east along Rittenhouse Road, near the intersection of Brookfield Crescent, in Kitchener. She collided with a stationary utility trailer, and then struck a parked pick up truck. Her vehicle rolled off of the truck and landed on the drivers side of the vehicle on Rittenhouse Road. Nearby witnesses came to the drivers aid by pushing the vehicle off of the drivers side and back onto its tires. The driver and lone occupant was transported to the Grand River Hospital where she was treated for abrasion and lacerations. She was later released. The Kitchener woman was charged with Careless Driving.
