(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On October 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a vehicle being operated in a dangerous manner on James Street in the Town of Parry Sound.
OPP investigation revealed that the vehicle was being driven throughout the town. The passenger of the vehicle observed the driving behaviour and exited to call police.
As a result of the investigation, Harold RAMSAY, 82 years of age from Sudbury was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to section 249(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on December 1, 2016 in Parry Sound to answer to his charges.
