(Madoc, ON) – On October 27, 2016 at 3:05 p.m. a vehicle travelling on Highway # 62 near Watson Lane in the Municipality of Centre Hastings was involved in a single motor vehicle collision. The northbound car lost control, struck a guard rail and became air born before it landed in Moira Lake. The 82 year old male driver and 77 year old female passenger, both of Havelock, ON were assisted out of the partially submerged vehicle by two passing motorists. Both occupants were transported by ambulance to hospital, having sustained minor injuries.
