(NORTH BAY, ON) – A charge has been laid in connection with the fatal collision involving two vehicles that happened on December 7, 2015, at approximately 1:00 p.m., on Highway 17 near Dube Road, Municipality of East Ferris.
The collision happened when a westbound vehicle entered into the eastbound lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, Helene LACHAPELLE, 82, Sudbury, Ontario, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act.
