(TILLSONBURG, ON.) On January 24, 2015 the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single vehicle collision which occurred in the front of Boston Pizza on Broadway Street in downtown Tillsonburg.
The collision was reported to police at approximately 1:40 p.m. The vehicle was pulling into a parking space when it accelerated, over the curb, across the sidewalk and struck a portion of the front of the building. The building damages were moderate and a building inspector attended the scene to assist.
The female driver of the vehicle was transported by Oxford EMS to Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital as a precaution. The Tillsonburg Fire Service also attended to assist. The business, Boston Pizza which was affected by the collision had parts cordoned off and no injuries were reported.
The driver, Valerie LAMBERT, 80 years old of Norfolk County was charged with Careless Driving.
