(Adjala-Tosorontio Township, Ontario) On the 29th of August 2014, at 12:56 p.m. members of the Nottawasaga OPP were dispatched to a medical emergency at a property in Tosorontio Township. A 78-year-old male from Hamilton was pulled from a pond on the property by emergency personnel, and was transported to Stevenson Memorial Hospital by ambulance. He has since been transported to South Lake Hospital in Newmarket and is in critical condition.
Members of the OPP are highly trained and qualified to assist during medical emergencies, and partnered with the Adjala-Tosorontio Township fire department they were able to pull the male out of the water.
