(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 5, 2015 at 6:44 p.m., a member of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a traffic complaint on James Street in Parry Sound. A male was seen staggering to his vehicle, getting in and driving away. Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol.
As a result of the officer’s investigation, Hans KORTE, 77 years of age from McDougall Township, was arrested and charged for Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on November 19, 2015 to answer to his charges.
