(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On the 11th of December 2015 at approximately 8:22 p.m. the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police in Elliot Lake received a phone call to attend Centennial Arena on Spruce Avenue regarding a possible assault.
On scene, police learned that the victim had allegedly been struck after a verbal discussion. Police investigated and charged James Ernest MAY (75) of Elliot Lake with the following:
Assault as per sec. 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on February 2, 2016.
