(PEMBROKE, ON) – On December 06, 2016 at just after 11am an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) cruiser was stopped in southbound traffic on Mackay Street in the City of Pembroke when a vehicle reversed from a private drive and struck the OPP cruiser at low speed causing minor damage to both vehicles. As a result 75 old male, Lewelyn CLUETT of Pembroke has been charged with failing to yield from a private drive under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
No injuries were sustained by the involved drivers or passenger.
