(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On September 15, 2016 at approximately 3:32 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision between a school bus and a car at the intersection of Eliza Street and St. Vincent Street in the Municipality of Meaford. There were no students on board the bus at the time of the collision.
The driver of the 2011 International PB1 bus, 74-year old Thomas BROOK of Collingwood, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Fail to Yield to Traffic under the Highway Traffic Act.
The driver of the Nissan car, a 51-year old Meaford woman, sustained minor injuries.
