(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) A member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) laid several charges following a traffic complaint received on November 27, 2013 at approximately 12:15 p.m.
The suspect vehicle was located on Whitewood Avenue. Police stopped the vehicle and checked the status of the driver.
Edward MILLER 74 years of Coleman Township is charged with Driving While Disqualified – section 259(4)(a) of the Criminal Code, Driving while under suspension – section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act, Operate a motor vehicle no insurance – section 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for 45 days.
Accused will appear in Haileybury Ontario Court of Justice on January 15, 2014.
