(Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 135Km/h in the 80km/h zone on Highway 7 shortly before noon yesterday.
Douglas ALLEN (age 73) of Lindsay, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2017 Ford pickup was impounded.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on December 12, 2016.
