$7,000 In Tools Stolen From Van In Clinton

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are seeking tips from the public to help solve a recent theft occurrence that took place in Clinton.

Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on October 19th and 7:15 a.m. on October 22nd suspect(s) entered into a company work van that was parked on Cutter Street in Clinton. Once inside the thieves located and stole numerous power tools and hand tools.

Some of the Dewalt brand stolen tools include a framing gun, jigsaw, two skill saws, two hammer drills, impact drill, sawzall, and a jobsite radio. The thieves also stole a Paslode trim gun and a Paslode framing gun.

In total, the stolen items are estimated to be worth around $7,000.
