(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) A Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation into a pellet gun shooting incident from December 2, 2013 has culminated with the arrest of a 20 year old male on December 4, 2013.
Lambton OPP allege that on December 2, 2013 around 3:00 p.m. in the town of Forest, Cory TAYLOR, of Forest had been shooting a .177 calibre pellet pistol onto Main street from an upper floor of a building.
During the incident, a 70 year old Lambton woman was struck in her face by a pellet. The victim, having received a minor injury, was treated and released on scene by Lambton Emergency Medical Service (EMS).
Lambton OPP responded to the area and began the investigation which has resulted in a Sarnia court date for the male, of February 3, 2014 to face the following charges:
1. Careless use of Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition.
2. Assault with a Weapon
3. Discharge a firearm into a place in reckless manner
4. Use firearm while committing offence
5. Possession of a weapon for Dangerous Purpose
6. Pointing a Firearm
