(WARREN, ON) – On February 25, 2017 at 2:40 p.m., members of the Noelville/Warren Ontario Provincial Police were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 535, St Charles, Ontario.
Investigation has revealed that a vehicle left the roadway and came to a stop in the ditch. Once police were on scene, the officer spoke with the driver and determined that he had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Robert BOUCHER, 70 years of age from St Charles was arrested and charged with:
Impaired Driving, contrary to section 253 (1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving with More than 80 mgs., contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on March 29, 2017 to answer to his charges.
