On June 30, 2015 officers from the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and the Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at 1096 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound. Inside the residence officers located approximately seven ounces of marihuana, scales and over $2400 in cash proceeds. A man was taken into custody within the residence. The 63 year old resident of Owen Sound is held in custody overnight pending a court appearance in the morning on charges of Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime.
