(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – On Thursday August 18, 2016, Perth County Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a break, enter and theft at a farm residence located on Line 29 north of Carlingford.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., Thursday August 18, 2016, the culprit(s) forced entry into the home by means of the front door. The home was entered and the following items were removed from inside:
– 60” LG Plasma TV
– 16” Acer laptop
– DeWalt 20 volt impact drill (with battery)
– DeWalt 20 volt drill (with battery)
In addition to the tools and electronic items, a “Stack-On” 16 gun green gun safe (filled with long guns was removed). A total of 62 non-restricted long guns were stolen from the residence. 29 of the guns are detailed below:

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information about the break-in, or who may have observed a suspicious vehicle or persons along Line 29 on the morning of Thursday August 18th to contact them.
