$6,000 Grow Op Bust

(Rockland) On September 24th 2015, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed a Search Warrant in the City of Clarence-Rockland, the result of an investigation by the Russell OPP Community Drug Action Team.

Investigators seized cannabis marihuana plants, cannabis marihuana, cannabis marihuana oil and cannabis marihuana “shake” with an estimated street value of 6000$.

Jennifer MAJOR (35) from Clarence-Rockland (ON), was arrested on Sept 28th 2015 and charged with the following:

Produce a schedule 2 substance (cannabis marihuana) C.D.S.A. Section 7(1)

Possession of a substance in Schedule 2 (cannabis resin) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)

Possession of a substance in Schedule 2 (cannabis marihuana over 30 grams) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)

Matthew WIERSMA (32) from Clarence-Rockland (ON), was arrested on Sept 28th 2015 and charged with the following:

Produce a schedule 2 substance (cannabis marihuana) C.D.S.A. Section 7(1)

Possession of a substance in Schedule 2 (cannabis resin) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)

Possession of a substance in Schedule 2 (cannabis marihuana over 30 grams) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)

The accused were released on a promise to appear and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice of Ontario in L’Orignal, (ON) on November 18th 2015.
