6 out of 7 Councillors Force Wingham Police On Winghamites Against Police Board & Police Officer’s Wishes

By time the Wingham Ward councillors got to vote on whether to keep the Wingham police it was already too late, since there were already 4 votes from the Blyth and E-W councillors to keep the status-quo in Wingham policing. Police Service Board Chair Seip moments before declared he stood with the Wingham Officers and Chief was in favor of disbanding the service, but it made zero difference.
