5th Hall Of Shame Entry For Upshall – Drug Bust – Katherine Upshall, Ashley Bierling, David Stoll – Date Rape Drug – Methamphetamine

(HURON EAST, ON) – On Friday, December 16, 2011 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Huron County Crime Unit, West Region ERT, Canine and Canada Border Services Agency executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Tile Road, Huron East, Huron County, Ontario.

A residence, outbuildings and vehicles were searched. As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized Gamma-Butyrolactone – a class A precursor of GHB which is commonly known as the “date rape drug” and methamphetamine. The estimated combined street value of the controlled substances is approximately $11,000. Officers also seized two motor vehicles and offence related property such as scales and documentation.

As a result of the investigation, Krista FREEMAN, female, age 34 years of Huron East is charged with Importing a Controlled Substance contrary to section 6(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of Methamphetamine and GHB contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. William SWINKELS, male, age 50 of Huron East is charged with Importing a Controlled Substance contrary to section 6(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Ashley BIERLING, female, age 20 of Central Huron is charged with Importing a Controlled Substance contrary to section 6(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Personation with Intent contrary to section 403(b) Criminal Code of Canada. David STOLL, male, age 46 of Kitchener, ON is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and GHB contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Breach of Probation contrary to section 733.1 Criminal Code of Canada. Michael CHAPMAN, male, age 41 of North Huron is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and GHB contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Katherine UPSHALL, female, age 37 of Huron East is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and GHB contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Katherine UPSHALL, Ashley BIERLING and David STOLL have been released from custody and will have to attend Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich on January 16, 2012. The other charged persons are still in custody.
