(MULMUR, ON) – As a result of an ongoing Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation into a suspicious death which occurred at a residence located on Dufferin County Road 21 in Mulmur Township, an arrest has been made in connection to this incident.
Late yesterday afternoon, under the direction of Detective Inspector Rob Hagerman and Detective Staff Sergeant Rob Lake of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), Detectives from the Caledon-Dufferin Crime Unit arrested and charged 58-year old Thomas MCGACHY of Mulmur Township with Manslaughter, contrary to section 236(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is being held in custody and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Orangeville on January 4, 2016 for a Bail Hearing.
