53 Year Old Faces Drunk Driving Charge

(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 19, 2015 at 8:22 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to call about a motor vehicle in the ditch.

Officers arrived at the collision area and spoke to the male driver of the motor vehicle. The male was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested by police and taken to Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment for further tests. The vehicle was impounded for seven days and driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days.

Slawomir Wieslaw SPELAK (age 53) of Tiny Township has been charged with:

– Driving While Ability Impaired

– Exceed 80 mgs.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on December 3, 2015.
