(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at approximately 10:44 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police attended an apartment building on Rowe’s Lane in the Township of Southgate in response to a report of a physical altercation involving three males.
Police arrived and found that all three men, who were known to each other, had been drinking alcohol prior to the altercation. One of the victims, a 45-year old Southgate man, was treated for minor injuries by Grey County Paramedics at the scene.
The primary aggressor, 50-year old Kevin Carlyle HORNER, of the Township of Southgate, was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and subsequently issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Liquor Licence Act (LLA). He was kept in custody at the Chatsworth OPP Detachment and was released when sober.
